Pandit Parmanand Yadav is a well known classical singer and music teacher. He has been a disciple of the great Kumar Gandharva, although he got the opportunity to stay in the company of Kumar ji for very few days. In the memory of his Guru, Parmanand ji created the Kumar Gandharva Foundation and annually gives Kumar Gandharva Samman and Kabir Samman to talented musicians and singers. Pandit Parmanand Yadav was born on 1 January 1963 in Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh. Several albums of his singing have been released.
